प्रयाग भारत, टिहरी: उत्तराखंड के टिहरी जिले में एक कार के गहरी खाई में गिरने से दो शिक्षकों सहित तीन यात्रियों की मौत हो गई। इस घटना की सूचना मिलते ही मौके पर पुलिस, एसडीआरएफ और स्थानीय प्रशासन की टीम भी पहुंची। जिला प्रशासन ने यह जानकारी दी।
उपजिलाधिकारी सदर संदीप कुमार ने जानकारी दी है कि चंबा-कोटी कॉलोनी मार्ग पर बागबाटा के पास सोमवार को बड़ा हादसा हुआ। जहां शाम करीब साढ़े चार बजे ऋषिकेश से सेमंडीधार जा रही एक कार अचानक अनियंत्रित होकर 500 मीटर गहरी खाई में गिर गई। उन्होंने बताया कि हादसे के समय कार में दो शिक्षक तथा उनमें से एक की पत्नी सवार थे और तीनों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। उपजिलाधिकारी के अनुसार मृतकों की पहचान विजय प्रकाश जगूड़ी (37), सोनू कुमार (37) और कुमार की पत्नी मोनिका (34) के रूप में हुई है। माना जा रहा है कि नींद की झपकी आने के कारण यह हादसा हुआ।
जिला प्रशासन के अनुसार शिक्षक छुट्टी बिताने के बाद अपने घर से सेमंडीधार वापस जा रहे थे। दोनों शिक्षक राजकीय इंटर कॉलेज (सेमंडीधार) में तैनात थे। दुर्घटना इतनी भयंकर थी कि कार के परखच्चे उड़ गए।
