देश में कोरोना के बढ़ते मामलों को देखते हुए केंद्र सरकाए ने राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों को टेस्टिंग में तेजी लाने के लिए निर्देशित किया है। शुक्रवार को केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य सचिव राजेश भूषण ने राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों से आरटीपीसीआर आधारित परीक्षण में परीक्षण के परिणामों में देरी की स्थितियों में रैपिड एंटीजन परीक्षणों (आरएटीएस) के व्यापक उपयोग से परीक्षण बढ़ाने को कहा है।
उन्होंने राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों को पत्र लिखकर उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना के मामलों की वर्तमान वृद्धि के दौरान, खांसी, सिरदर्द, गले में खराश, सांस फूलना, शरीर में दर्द, स्वाद या गंध का जाना, थकान और दस्त के साथ / बिना बुखार वाले किसी भी व्यक्ति को संदिग्ध माना जाना चाहिए। ऐसे सभी लोगों का परीक्षण किया जाना चाहिए। वहीं उन्होंने कहा कि परीक्षण के परिणाम की प्रतीक्षा किए बिना ऐसे लोगों को तुरंत खुद को आइसोलेट करने की सलाह दी जानी चाहिए।
