प्रयाग भारत, नैनीतालः उत्तराखंड सतर्कता अधिष्ठान (विजिलेंस) हल्द्वानी की टीम ने शुक्रवार को नैनीताल के मुख्य कोषाधिकारी (सीटीओ) समेत दो लोगों को 1,20,000 रुपये की घूस लेते हुए रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार किया है।
प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार शिकायतकर्ता की ओर से दी गई तहरीर में बताया गया कि वह और उसके पांच साथी नैनीताल उच्च न्यायालय में तैनात हैं। सभी को वेतन में एसीपी का लाभ मिलना था। इसके लिए नैनीताल के सीटीओ दिनेश कुमार राणा निवासी सैनिक स्कूल के पास, मल्लीताल, नैनीताल की अगुवाई में एक तीन सदस्यीय कमेटी का गठन किया गया। कमेटी के दो सदस्यों ने तो रिपोर्ट में हस्ताक्षर कर दिए। लेकिन सीटीओ की ओर से हस्ताक्षर नहीं किया गया। इस बीच सीटीओ कार्यालय में तैनात एकाउंटेंट बसंत कुमार जोशी द्वारा शिकायतकर्ता से फोन कर बताया गया कि सीटीओ हस्ताक्षर करने के बदले प्रत्येक लाभार्थी से 50 से 60 हजार रुपए की मांग कर रहे हैं। अंतत: 120000 रुपये में सौदा तय हो गया।
विजिलेंस की ओर से शिकायत का परीक्षण कराया गया। तथ्य सही पाये जाने पर पुलिस उपाधीक्षक अनिल मनराल की ओर से एक टीम का गठन किया गया। ट्रैप टीम ने आरोपी सीटीओ और एकाउटेंट बसंत कुमार निवासी गैस गोदाम रोड, हल्द्वानी को 120000 लाख की घूस लेते हुए उनके कार्यालय से रंगे हाथ गिरफ्तार कर लिया। विजिलेंस के अनुसार भ्रष्टाचार निवारण अधिनियम के तहत मामला दर्ज कर अग्रिम कार्रवाई की जाएगी। विजिलेंस निदेशक डा. वी. मुरुगेशन की ओर से आम जनता से अपील की गई कि कोई सरकारी कर्मचारी रिश्वत की मांग करता है तो हेल्पलाइन नंबर 1064 पर शिकायत करें। उन्होंने टीम को नकद पुरस्कार देने की घोषणा की है।
