प्रयाग भारत, जौनपुर: उत्तर प्रदेश में जौनपुर जिले के शाहगंज क्षेत्र में सोमवार की देर रात पांच नाबालिग लड़कों ने एक लड़की के साथ गैंग रेप किया। पुलिस ने घटना के चार घंटे के भीतर पांच आरोपियों और चार सह अभियुक्तों (सभी नाबालिग) को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक ग्रामीण शैलेंद्र कुमार सिंह ने मंगलवार को बताया कि शाहगंज कोतवाली क्षेत्र में सोमवार की देर रात एक नाबालिग लड़की के साथ पांच लोगों ने रेप किया तथा चार अन्य लड़को ने सहयोग किया। गैंगरेप से पीड़िता की हालत गम्भीर हो गई, उसे अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया। अभियुक्तों की गिरफ्तारी के लिये कुल पांच टीमों को रवाना किया गया था।
मुखबिर से सूचना प्राप्त हुई कि अभियुक्त एक सुनसान बिल्डिंग मे इकठ्ठा होकर भागने की योजना बना रहे है, इस सूचना पर पुलिस टीम के द्वारा घेराबन्दी किया गया और अभियुक्तों की गिरफ्तारी का प्रयास किया गया। घेरा बन्दी के दौरान अभियुक्त बिल्डिंग की छत से कूदकर भागने लगे। बिल्डिंग की छत से कूदने व भागने के दौरान अभियुक्तों को चोटें आयी, जिन्हें पुलिस टीम के द्वारा अस्पताल ले जाकर भर्ती कराया गया।
