प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने देश वासियों को सम्बोधित कर कहा कि ओमिक्रोन का खतरा लगातार बढ़ रहा है। लेकिन इससे घबराने की जरूरत नही बल्कि सतर्क रहने की जरूरत है। उन्होंने कहा, भारत में भी कई लोगों के ओमीक्रॉन से संक्रमित होने का पता चला है। मैं आप सभी से आग्रह करूंगा कि पैनिक नहीं करें सावधान और सतर्क रहें। मास्क और हाथों को थोड़ी-थोड़ी देर पर धोना इन बातों को याद रखें।
उन्होंने देश वासियों को संबोधित कर पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि
कोरोना वायरस व ओमिक्रॉन को लेकर अहम बातें देशवासियों के साथ साझा कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने देशवासियों से पैनिक न करने और सतर्क रहने को कहा है। बता दें कि दुनियाभर में ओमिक्रॉन के बढ़ते मामलों ने देश को भी चिंता में डाल दिया है। इसके मद्देनजर कई राज्यों ने रात्रि कर्फ्यू सहित कई उपाय लागू किए हैं।
पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि आप सभी को क्रिसमस की शुभकामनाएं। हम इस वर्ष के अंतिम सप्ताह में हैं। नया वर्ष आने ही वाला है। आप सभी 2022 के स्वागत की तैयारी में जुटे हैं। लेकिन उत्साह और उमंग के साथ ही ये समय सचेत रहने का भी है। आज दुनिया के कई देशों में कोरोना के नए वैरिएंट ओमिक्रॉन की वजह से संक्रमण बढ़ रहा है।
सावधान रहें, सतर्क रहें। मास्क का भरपूर प्रयोग करें। हाथों को समय समय पर धोना इस बात भूलना नहीं है। आज जब वायरस म्यूटेट हो रहा है तो हमारा आत्मविश्वास भी मल्टीप्लाई हो रहा है। हमारी इनोवेटिव स्पिरिट भी बढ़ रही है। आज देश के पास 18 लाख आइसोलेशन बेड्स हैं. 5 लाख ऑक्सीजन सपोर्टेड बेड्स हैं। 1 लाख 40 हजार आईसीयू बेड्स हैं. आईसीयू और नॉन आईसीयू बेड्स को मिला दें तो 90 हजार बेड्स बच्चों के लिए हैं। आज देश में ऑक्सीजन प्लांट्स हैं। 4 लाख से ज्यादा ऑक्सीजन सिलेंडर देश में दिए गए हैं। राज्यों को पर्याप्त टेस्टिंग किट्स और दवाओं के बफर स्टॉक दिए जा रहे हैं।
