प्रयाग भारत, पिथोरागढ़: गांव में किशन सिंह का तिमंजिला मकान एकांत में है। घर में बीमार वृद्धा के अलावा कोई नहीं था। अचानक घर में आग लग गई और वृद्धा की जिंदा जलकर मौत हो गई।
तहसील मुख्यालय से आठ किलोमीटर दूर भामा गांव के एक घर में लगी आग में बीमार वृद्धा की जिंदा जलने से मौत हो गई। अग्निकांड में सोने के गहने और नकदी सहित घर का सारा सामान जलकर राख हो गया।
गांव में किशन सिंह का तिमंजिला मकान एकांत में है। सोमवार शाम को वह पूजा में शामिल होने गए थे। उसकी पत्नी कमला देवी घास काटने जंगल गई हुई थी। घर में उनकी बीमार मां अनुली देवी (75) सो रहीं थीं। इसी दौरान घर में आग लग गई। गांव की युवती उमा मेहरा ने शाम पांच बजे मकान से धुआं उठता देखकर ग्रामीणों को बताया।
जब तक ग्रामीण मौके पर पहुंचते तब तक घर की तीसरी मंजिल जल चुकी थी। कमरे से वृद्धा का जला हुआ शव मिला। परिजनों के अनुसार आग में पांच तोला सोना, 50,000 की नकदी और जरूरी कागजात नष्ट हो गए हैं। आग लगने का कारण शॉर्ट सर्किट बताया जा रहा है।
प्रशासक मंगल सिंह की सूचना पर गंगोलीहाट थाना पुलिस और विद्युत विभाग के कर्मचारी गांव पहुंचे। इसके बाद महिला के शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए सीएचसी गंगोलीहाट ले जाया गया। किशन सिंह का परिवार सदमे में है। पूर्व विधायक मीना गंगोला ने घटना पर दुख जताते हुए पीड़ित परिवार को हर संभव मदद दिलाने की बात कही है।
