प्रयाग भारत, भदोही: भदोही की एक गर्भवती महिला ने आरोप लगाया है कि दहेज में कार की मांग को लेकर उसके पति ने उसके पेट पर लात मारकर भ्रूण हत्या की। पुलिस ने शुक्रवार को यह जानकारी दी। पुलिस अधीक्षक अभिमन्यु मांगलिक ने बताया कि औराई थाना क्षेत्र में खमरिया गांव के ओमकार नाथ शुक्ला की बेटी प्रीति शुक्ला ने बृहस्पतिवार को महिला थाने में पति प्रवीण तिवारी, जेठ मनोज तिवारी, ससुर शेषमणि तिवारी, सास इसरावती देवी और ननद रेखा के खिलाफ बीएनएस की सुसंगत धाराओं के तहत मामला दर्ज कराया।
प्रीति का आरोप है कि उसके पति ने उसकी इच्छा के विरुद्ध अप्राकृतिक यौन संबंध बनाया और दहेज में कार की मांग को लेकर उसके पेट पर कई बार लात मारा जिससे उसका गर्भ खराब हो गया है। महिला का पति केंद्रीय जल आयोग (लखनऊ) में कार्यरत है।
मांगलिक ने बताया कि बेटी प्रीति शुक्ला की शादी नवंबर, 2017 में जिले के कोइरौना थानाक्षेत्र के प्रवीण कुमार तिवारी से की थी। शादी के बाद वह पति के साथ लखनऊ में रहने लगी जहां जेठ, सास ससुर और ननद भी आते-जाते थे। उन्होंने बताया कि शादी में लाखों रुपये नकदी और दहेज़ में अन्य सामान देने के बाद भी प्रीति के पति और ससुराल वाले कार की मांग को लेकर उसे शारीरिक और मानसिक रूप से प्रताड़ित करते थे।
आरोप है कि गर्भवती होने की जानकारी होने के बाद भी कार की मांग पूरी नहीं होने पर प्रवीण कुमार ने 24 सितंबर, 2024 की सुबह भद्दी-भद्दी गाली देते हुए उसके पेट में कई बार लात मारी जिससे अत्यधिक रक्तस्राव होने की वजह से पेट में पल रहा दो माह का बच्चा खराब हो गया। पुलिस अधीक्षक ने बताया कि काफी लंबा इलाज और देखरेख के बाद प्रीति की हालत में सुधार आने के बाद उसने बृहस्पतिवार को पुलिस को तहरीर दी।
मांगलिक के अनुसार इस मामले की गहनता से जांच कर विधिक कार्रवाई करने का महिला थाना प्रभारी सीमा सिंह को निर्देश दिया गया है। महिला थाना प्रभारी सीमा सिंह ने बताया कि मामला दर्ज कर जिले के कोइरौना क्षेत्र के बारीपुर गांव में आरोपियों के यहां पुलिस टीम पहुंची जहां घर पर कोई मौजूद नहीं मिला।
